After working as a professional photographer in the fast pace city Shanghai for two years, I felt there was more in life that I needed to experience and explore. Studying fine art courses were the best way. I spent two years of freedom in exploration in Orebro Art College during 2008 – 2010. It was a journey of discovering and finding the ways to express thoughts with fine art skills in painting, sculpture, installations and exhibitions. Besides that, there were field trips and other events at school, which gave me a deeper understanding in Swedish culture.
After graduated from the art school, I studied the master programme in human-centered product design in Linnaeus University. The knowledge that I gained from the art school has always stayed along, it naturally influence me with making decisions in design.
Currently I’m an user-centered product designer with focus on experience and emotional design. My interest is to increase the emotional links between people and products. Getting involved with future users to understand their habits and dreams, in order to spot trends and true needs. It’s fascinating to find out the little gaps in everyday life that could improve and make the result appealing.
